Introduction to the TreasurySpring portal

The TreasurySpring platform enables institutional investors to access high-quality short-term investments through Fixed-Term Funds (FTFs), offering transparency, flexibility, and operational simplicity. This guide will walk you through everything you need to know to get started; from logging in, to placing your first subscription and managing your account.

Accessing the portal

To log in to the portal, visit treasuryspring.com and click Platform login at the top of the page. We use secure, password-less login. Simply enter the email address where you received your welcome email and follow the prompts to access the portal.

Searching and subscribing to Finding Fixed-Term Funds

Searching and subscribing

Go to the Search FTFs tab to explore available Fixed-Term Funds.

  • Use filters (sector, rating, maturity, yield) to narrow your options

  • Click Select on your chosen FTF.

  • Complete the Subscription Instruction Form and then click Subscribe.

A subscription is only valid once the form is submitted and matching funds are received in the appropriate account. All indicative yields shown on the portal are net of fees and quoted as Annualised Percentage Yield (APY).

See the subscribing to an FTF article for more information and to watch our helpful explainer video

Subscription bank details and key platform documents

  • Bank Details for our subscription bank accounts

  • Platform documents including the Master Cell Operating Procedures, which outline cut-off times for subscriptions and how to manage next actions on your FTF

  • Cell Documents such as factsheets and cell articles for each FTF

We recommend performing a test payment prior to any subscription in each currency you intend to use to verify correct setup and avoid delays. See our setting up a test payment article for instructions.

Portfolio and valuations

Use the Portfolio page to monitor and manage your FTFs. You can:

  • View current investments

  • See daily valuations

  • Update Next Actions before the cut-off time

Next actions refer to what you want to happen when your FTF matures (e.g. roll, withdraw, switch). You can update these at any time before cut-off. Click any FTF for detailed information. More information about next actions can be found in the next actions update article.

Currency conversion

Using the Next Actions page, FTFs can be seamlessly converted into an alternative currency redemption via our fully automated, streamlined process.

Learn more about our currency conversion offering in our currency conversion on subscription article.

Configuring your entity settings

Entity information overview

Viewing your entity information

Go to your entity under the Entities tab to find information we hold on file, including the account’s unique investor code, registered address and bank account details, subscription and currency workflows and transactions documents

Viewing and updating your bank account details

For Anti-Money Laundering (AML) reasons, payments for FTF subscriptions must come from an account we have on file. You can registered multiple accounts per currency to send funds from.

You can find information about the accounts we have on file, and find the account designated for redemptions, on the entities tab. You can request a new account to be added by emailing us. More information about bank accounts can be found in our finding the bank details we hold for you article.

Checking your subscription workflows

Workflows allow you to apply authorisation controls to your account by defining how many people must approve a subscription.

  • Subscriber only: One person can submit a subscription with no additional review.

  • Four-eye: A second approver is required to approve the subscription.

  • Six-eye: A third releaser is required to review and approve the subscription.

A user’s ability to subscribe, review, or release is determined by their user permissions. Users may hold multiple permissions, but cannot review or release a subscription they submitted themselves. Administrators can change the workflow and users' permissions at any time. See our updating your subscription workflow article for more information.

Checking users and portal permissions

Users and their associated permissions can be viewed on the Users & Permissions tab in the admin panel, which is accessed via the Admin button in the top-right corner of the Entities page. Users with Admin Update permissions can add, edit, and remove users.

See our updating user permissions article for more information about permissions.

Viewing and approving tasks

Some actions on the TreasurySpring portal create tasks that require one or more approvers. Outstanding tasks available for approval are displayed in the tasks tab of the portal or using the TreasurySpring mobile app.

Learn more about the types of task on our viewing and approving tasks article
